The Different Ways Our Spirit Peoplel Connect with Us and Let Us Know They're Around

We as humans tend to go by what we see physically rather than having faith that something is there that we can't see. Unfortunately, this is a normal pattern of thinking for most of us, but it doesn't have to be. I've heard analogies such as the "air", "electricity" or the "Internet" - we can't see them, but know they're around, right? So are our spirit people and spirit guides!

If you've ever had a medium reading done, you've more than likely received information on things that have been, and are going on around YOU, as well as the identifying validations from spirit. This is a really cool experience because suddenly you realize you aren't always alone. This can be comforting for some, or a bit strange for others. Don't worry, they don't watch us dress or look at the balance in our checkbooks while we're doing bills (and if you DO feel someone being too nosey, it's probably not your spirit loved one - they don't suddenly turn into perverts or want to know your checkbook balance. Cleanse your home with a spiritual cleansing (smudging with sage) and tell them to leave!). They aren't around us every minute of the day - they have their own work to do in the spirit world which is really, right here, just on another level. They do, however, pop in and let us know they are around from time to time. During one of my readings, a spirit person brought up the fact that my client couldn't find her other shoe that morning. Needless to say, my client was shocked! During another reading, a spirit person brought up knowing that my client was having a hard time with her marriage and was there giving her comfort from the otherside. Another client was overjoyed to hear that her deceased grandfather was so thankful and grateful to her for taking care of his daughter (my client's mother) by allowing her to live with my client rather than being put in a nursing home. These can be huge meaningful things or just little things, but spirit, nonetheless, will let us know they're around.

Our spirit people will give us other signs they're around as well. They will not try to scare us; however, if we aren't used to this kind of activity, it can be rather spooky. If something does scare you, just tell them to please stop - and right away. Our spirit people will not want to spook us and will comply. Because spirit is electromagnetic energy, they can easily manipulate electrical things such as the volume on your TV or the channels, computers, light bulbs or lights, clocks, radios, etc. You may notice a light bulb dimming or flickering when talking about a deceased loved one, or your cell phone may suddenly ring with no one on the other end and no caller ID. Spirit will give us a waft of a scent you would associate with them such as a specific perfume, flower, cigar or cigarette smoke, etc. If a spirit person cooked eggs every morning routinely, you may smell eggs out of the blue. You may catch "orbs" or mists in photos you've taken at family gatherings or even around your home. I understand these to be spirits manifesting just a little for us without using the huge amount of energy it takes to fully manifest. You may hear his or her voice in your head suddenly as if you're reading a book to yourself, or you may hear your name being called (within your head or even outside of it - everyone hears them differently). You may FEEL someone behind you or even catch a form in your peripheral vision, yet turn around and no one is there. You may feel them go "through" you. You may even have small things move or fall off of counters, or, and this is the most common, dream vivid dreams about them. Dreams that are very vivid and real are normally visits.

Our spirit people will give us many little hints they're around; we just have to be open enough to see them and most importantly, not chalk it off to our imagination! Can you imagine if you were trying to let someone here on the earth plane know you were around, yet that person kept thinking it was their imagination? It would be frustrating, to say the least, so try to be open to little messages our people in spirit give to let us know they're around. Please also remember that our spirit people will not try to scare us or hurt us. IF you have an energy in your home that you don't feel is positive and you've asked to leave but it hasn't, remember YOU are always in control. Deal with it non-emotionally and firmly (they can feed off fear). Put your foot down and grab that sage bundle mentioned above and spiritually cleanse the energy in your home.
