Important Guidelines for Your Sitting
GUIDELINES FOR YOUR MEDIUM SITTING
1. THIS IS NOT FORTUNE TELLING. Although there is a strong psychic ability that presents itself in Barb's mediumship reading, the purpose of this reading is to prove the continuity of life by giving evidential information from your loved ones in spirit about themselves, and then any messages/guidance that your loved ones or guides may have for you.
2. BE OPEN TO ANYONE COMING THROUGH AND WHAT THEY HAVE TO GIVE. It is not up to us as to who comes through OR what info they should bring through, it's up to spirit. They have their reasons there and know what's best for us here. Barb will ask who it is you would like to hear from, but we cannot guarantee that they can or will show. You can help increase the chances of hearing from your person in spirit by asking for them to show a few days prior.
3. FOR TELEPHONE READINGS - To spare you the expense of a long distance call, Barb will call you at your appointment time (within the US only. If you are an international client, we will supply you the phone number to call for your appointment). On Barb's Appointment Quest program, there will be an area to add the phone number where to call you. Please be sure to add this number. Also, choose a phone with a good connection, i.e., land line or a clear cell phone and be rested and relaxed for your reading. If you choose to use a cell phone, please note that it's imperative that Barb hears your voice clearly to link to your energy. If your cell phone call drops or your voice is unclear/muffled, she will need to stop the reading, and another session will need to be purchased if you wish to reschedule. No speaker phones.
4. PLEASE TAKE GOOD NOTES. A FREE recording is included with your reading, but are NOT guaranteed. If you'd like to tape your own reading, you must notify our office beforehand.
5. MAKE SURE YOU ARE UNINTERRUPTED FOR YOUR SESSION.
6. KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR FAMILY HISTORY. For validation purposes, it helps for you to know the names of those in your family (both sides if you are married), their personality, ailments, how they passed, important dates, what they did for a living, and anything you can find out about them. This is so you can validate more during your sitting.
7. YOU MAY NOT UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING. If you do not understand information being given by a spirit person or guide, please write it down and check with your family or friends after the reading. Try to be as open as you can about the process. Many validations occur after the reading is over. Barb can only pass on to you what she is receiving, and interpret the information to the best of her ability.
8. KEEP YOUR ANSWERS SHORT, in other words, do not volunteer information; let spirit give Barb the information to tell you. Please acknowledge all info with a "yes that makes sense" or "I am unsure about that" or "no". Please be gentle with any "no's" as your spirit people are working very hard to get info to you, and sometimes you won't know or remember the information at the time of the session. Curt "no's" can disrupt the energy, so please be gentle with your answers.
9. BARB RECEIVES INFORMATION FROM SPIRIT BY seeing, hearing and feeling (clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairscentience, respectively) them. She will then put these things together to interpret and will give you the information as she's getting it. No one is 100% accurate. If Barb gives you information and you understand what she's trying to interpret, please don't hold out waiting for the exact word or phrase. Spirit gives information as FAST as they can, and with the LEAST amount of energy expended. Also, it's a good idea not to try to make something fit, just let it be what it is.
10. NAMES come in constantly as Barb is connecting with your spirit people. There are a billion common names out there, so she's one who likes to receive the personality of the person over anything else. This truly identifies a person, if you think about it. When names do come in, they will be connected to the spirit person, or someone they have around them. Your spirit people may also give a name of someone living to acknowledge them or give a message to them. The names normally sound like the original name. For example, Mary can be MaRie or MaRla.
